Held annually on the grounds of the Indianapolis Art center’s 9.5 acre ArtsPark from 2014 - 2018, Installation Nation was an immersive, site-specific installation art event developed by the Indianapolis non-profit Primary Colours with curatorial oversight led by Curatorial Chair Kyle Herrington. Each summer, 12 to 16 regional artists and artist teams were commissioned to develop sculpture, performances, and installations for the ArtsPark which expanded their own artistic practices and engaged public audiences over a period of three weeks.
