Curatorial Work III
In collaboration with the Indianapolis Art Center's Summer Storytellers Exhibition Series, NoExit Performance was commissioned to create Baba Yaga and the Brave Youths, an adventurous romp through the Indianapolis Art Center's natural surroundings and around exhibitions and sculptures featured in ArtsPark. Audiences follow along with two brothers on an adventurous journey that involves a little magic and some unusual characters. The story is based on a collection of Russian Folktales featuring Baba Yaga, an ancient witch. Supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
