Stacey Lee Webber: Portraits of a Post-Industrial American
Allen W. Clowes Gallery, Indianapolis Art Center
2013
Webber writes: "Through traditional metalsmithing techniques I manipulate found metal materials into iconic sculpture and adornment which evoke American iconography and national pride. These art objects are celebrations of the American working-class and the blue-collar work ethic which binds the heart of the United States. I strive to make artwork that highlights and honors the American middle-class struggle."
