Curatorial Work III
Rosewater explores the history of adornment and the physical materials that shape the landscape. Through the collaboration of place and time, and with a spirit of collage, Rosewater combines diverse experiences, vernacular references, and ornamental motifs—finding a balance between the recognizable and the unfamiliar, the real and the representative, excess and restraint. In an ever-connected world, art, craft, and visual language are sites of shared understanding, where we learn from one another, borrow, and gain knowledge of the human experience.
